Heritage Boutique Apartments Bad Ischl

ARRIVAL

Please inform us about your arrival time in advance so we are there to welcome you. Check-in is from 2 p.m. onwards. If you arrive earlier, you can pick up the key cards and store your luggage. We also offer a key safe for late arrivals. To make your check-in as convenient as possible, please supply your check-in data here.  
Public transport: By train to Bad Ischl train station + Walk through the city (10 min) or bus stop Salzburgerstrasse.
By car: Loading and unloading in front of the house is possible (stop in the small side street). Several paid public parking options are available and only 3-5 min by foot.

BIKING

If you wish, you can store your bicycles in our bicycle garage. Please inform us so that we can activate your key card for the garage. Here you will also find a basic repair kit. There are several cycling and e-bike travel guides in the salon that you are welcome to borrow during your stay. Bad Ischl also has an (e-)bike rental in the city.

BREAKFAST

Free coffee & tea is available in our salon. We cooperate with a breakfast service -  the Jausensack. Scan the QR code at the table and order before 10 p.m. to have fresh breakfast delivered to your door by 8 a.m. the following day. We also recommend the excellent bakery MAMVI (2 min) as well as the bakery on Sundays Nahmer. For extravagant brunch: Zauner.

COFFEE & TEA

A French press can be found in the apartment. If you prefer coffee capsules or organic tea, we ask you to visit the tea and coffee bar in the salon (2nd floor) - free of charge.

CLEANING

Are you staying with us longer and would you like an interim cleaning? On request, we are happy to offer a free quick cleaning with vacuum cleaning and wiping after 7 days. We are happy to provide fresh towels etc. every few days as well.

COLD - IN WINTER

In winter, please air the room briefly every day (intermittent airing) after showering and do not open the windows all the time. You can set the temperature on the radiator valves. In the closet you will find fresh blankets.

COOKING

Your apartment is equipped with a private kitchenette - including a refrigerator, hotplates and basic cooking equipment (pot, pan, oil, etc.)​

DEPARTURE

Check-out is until 10:00 a.m. If we don't see each other before you go: Please leave the apartment door open and put the key cards in the mailbox outside next to the main door. Thank you for choosing us! We appreciate your feedback to further improve our services. All the best!

We gladly help you plan your perfect stay upon arrival! Guidebooks can be borrowed from the Salon during your stay, you also can find some tips for day trips on the ground floor bulletin board and online in our activities section and on our blog.

GARBAGE & RECYCLING

Please help us with separating our waste! Paper, plastic and residual waste can be found in the apartment, as well as a bag for glass and cans. You are welcome to dispose of additional rubbish and organic waste directly in the garbage room (walk through the bicycle garage, on the other side of the little garden).

HEAT - IN SUMMER

 The old villa helps with keeping cool - open windows in the morning and late in the evening, and close both windows and curtains during the day. We are happy to provide you with particularly airy and thin cotton blankets. For environmental reasons, we don't have air conditioners but offer fans.

INTERNET

After connecting to the "Heritage Gast" network, you need to enter the access code 0101010101 and register by ticking and accepting the terms and conditions. Problems with the internet connection? Don't forget to accept the terms and conditions. Briefly disable data connection and WiFi.

IRONING

An iron and ironing board can be found in the alcove on the 2nd floor. Please use both on site (do not take them with you).

LAUNDRY

The apartments do not have their own washing machine. The laundry service Maherndl is only 1 minute away. Please keep in mind that there is no self-service laundromat in town.

LUGGAGE STORAGE

If you arrive very early or you want to spend a few more hours in the area after checking out, we can store your luggage in the salon. Your card for the front door generally grants you access until 10:30 a.m. After that, you can ring the reception doorbell, and we will open the villa door for you.

NAVIGATION

For routes using public transportation, we recommend the Scotty and SBG Verkehr apps. Google Maps is great for finding local businesses, etc. (but does not include all bus routes).

PARKING

Please avoid driving through the village and use the entrance "Bad Ischl West". This leads into Salzburgerstraße, our villa is on the right. Loading and unloading in front of the house is possible (please stop in the small side street). Several paid public parking options are available and only 3-5 min by foot.

PAYMENT

When booking online, you have several payment options to choose from (invoice, credit card, PayPal, etc.). You are also welcome to pay upon arrival - preferably in cash, but if necessary also by card. A 24-hour ATM is only a minute away.

PHILOSOPHY

Can you combine a good conscience with a luxurious vacation? We say yes and welcome you to our family business in the heart of the Salzkammergut, since summer 2020! More about our philosophy.

PETS

Unfortunately, we cannot accept animals. We can gladly recommend accommodations in the area that are happy to host animals.

You can find details on bakeries, supermarkets, and good restaurants in the area on the wall opposite the reception and in the salon.

SHOPPING

Almost all shops are closed on Sundays!

This is a non-smoking house, Smokers can use the balcony on the 2nd floor.

TOWELS

In the salon you will find bath towels that you are welcome to use for the spa or a day by the lake. Please let us know if you need fresh room or bath towels.

Bad Ischl is a health resort town with tradition - you can find more information about the spa paradise Salzkammergut here. The Eurothermen Resort Bad Ischl can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Feel free to use our free bath towels from the salon!
