Arrival by public transport & bike

The "Salzburgerstraße" bus station is right outside the front door. Alternatively, you can take the train to Bad Ischl train station and take a 10-minute walk through Bad Ischl's center.

You can of course also arrive by bike, we also provide a bike garage free of charge.

Your way from the train station leads you past the Kongresshaus, for example

Arriving by car

We recommend stopping in the alley next to the house for check-in and unloading bags. We will then be happy to explain the way to the nearby free public parking lot (6 minutes walking distance) or an even closer paid parking lot (3 minutes).

Our villa has a bike garage.

Arrival by public transport & bike

In addition to bus, train and boat, we can also recommend several first and last mile offers, such as scooters and electric cars. With the  Wegfinder-App of the ÖBB you have all options at a glance.

For routes using public transportation, we recommend the Scotty and SBG Verkehr apps. Google Maps is great for finding local businesses, etc. (but does not include all bus routes).

The Salzkammergut can be explored without a car easily - we have put together many tips for you (such as Hallstatt by train & ship) and would be happy to help you with your trip.
